My Own Path Poem by Spiritwind Wood

My Own Path

Rating: 5.0

I carry the Spirit of my voice
to the sounds of the wind
across the desert plains
to the mountains
that echoes like waves on an Ocean
that crashes upon an open shore
I tread on my own path I choose to take
because the road I travel is my own choice
what I decide is only for me to make
and learn wisdom through each mistake
I see through lies and that which is fake
I know truth which others don't see
because I been there many times before
I pretend to be no one but me
a Warrior born free
