My Oklahoma Experience Poem by Marilyn Lott

There is so much about Oklahoma
That I know you’d love to see
Watching bull rides in summer
Is always a lot of fun for me

I was able to visit the city
Just a few months ago
For John took us on a tour
Visiting places I wanted to go

Red dirt roads I traveled
Along the famous Route 66
Saw windmills at work
One of John’s special picks

Will Rogers Park was wonderful
A relaxing place to visit
Flowers, oh you would love them
For they truly are exquisite

Maybe some other time
We will get to drive the distance
Across our beautiful country
For another Oklahoma experience!
