My Mother, My Friend Poem by Patricia Grantham

My Mother, My Friend

Rating: 4.8

You have given so much of yourself and still have more to share
When others closes their hearts to love you always seem to care
My mother, my friend how gracious you've shown your love to me
You give of your heart so freely for all of the world to see

A beautiful rose and petals from a flower, the root of the family tree
My mother, my friend a gift from God you mean all the world to me
There is no replacement for the unconditional love of a mother
When God formed her he broke the mold for there could never be another

You're just like a tiger in a den thats protective of her lair
The sharing of your countless love shows others that you care
We sometimes forget that a mother is a blessing from above
My mother, my friend a deep well of never ending love

Read this wonderful poem of yours, on mother. Whatever you've said in your poem about mother's love is absolutely true. The poem touched me, particularly the following two lines, which are particularly true: 'We sometimes forget that a mother is a blessing from above My mother, my friend a deep well of never ending love'

This is Excellent and such a beautiful poem about your mom. I miss my very much loved mom, who was forever there for me, unconditionally, and always made me feel loved and so good. She was so amazing, as your mom.....and I thank God for this gift of love......greatly missed.

A lovely touching poem about loving mother who just can not be replaced. No explanation & no detailing is enough for a mother who still has something to detail further.... a lovely writing reminding the warmth of moth

A mother is irreplaceable... she is so unique and universal! God cannot be everywhere, so He made mothers... says an old proverb! There is no greater friendship or love than that of a mother! Unfortunately we often fail to reciprocate it! This poem, dedicated to your mother is warm with felial love! ! A great write! !
