That was eighty-seven years ago

Too easy to remember your name, too
Duan, in the Duan Wu Festival


Now
All your children and grandchildren
Plus again
Great-grandchildren
Together with yourself
Thirty-nine
Have a joyous gathering

Life
Steps up
Enjoys the joy
Life
No regrets
Full beautiful memories

Do not have to
For three meals in day
For sleep at night
To busy rush
How nice it is!

Now
This desire
Has already been realized
But the cost of
It is old
Also
Gray hair on the temples

Today

那是八十七年前
一个不显眼的日子
你的名字也好记
端，端午节的端

如今
你儿孙满堂
再加上
重孙
连同自己
三十九位
欢聚一堂

人生
步步走高
畅享欢乐
人生
了无遗憾
秀美回忆

不必为了
日有三餐
夜有一宿
繁忙奔波
那该有多好哇

如今
这个愿望
早已实现
但付出的代价
却是老迈
还有
双鬓斑白

今天
又是端午的前天
我珊珊来迟
为你祝寿
再添上几笔

感悟：这首诗，连同英文翻译，不敢说一挥而就，但仅仅用了一小时零十分。这是我诗作成熟的标志。但同时，成熟也意味着走向老迈，走向双鬓斑白，走向……。省略号里的文字，我不写了，你懂的！时光呀，多美好！为何不为我驻足停留？
