My Mother Poem by Albert John

My Mother

Dear Mom
Nine months and nine days
In your womb i spent
Receiving life from you
And you brought me to the light of life
My mother is the wonder of the world
Lying in her lap i don't need to fear
For she gives me strength and security
Oh! God bless me and make me useful to the world
Life may come and life may go
But i shall bow to her forever
for she made me what i am
I love my mom
My sweet mother
She smiles when i smile
And cries when i cry
She only gives and gives
And expects nothing for her.
