MY MAN

Another new day is dawning,
And while I'm stretching, yawning
my man pulls me near for some cuddling
and whispering gently, saying
'I love you so very much'
and to me to receive as such
my man does makes me smile
for many years and miles.

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
