My Lovely February Poem by marissa c baker

My Lovely February

At first, there are snow fluries which fall in such a gentle way
They come slowly gently touching my face
Then there is the heavy down pour as I am covered with snow
It is wonderful, lovely, and stunning in this February winter cold

Should I feel the need to get cozy, I run inside by the fire so warming
With the temperature dropping amongst me, I suddenly fall asleep with a smile
Oh but my February days are slowly deceased as this four weeks month drags toward the end
There is nothing like that February inviting feeling as winter is slowly coming to an end
