My Light Is You Poem by Ron Pate

My Light Is You

- Through the stratocumulus covered crystal blue.

-  Standing neath the midday sun shining high, so shall you.

 - Dandelions float helplessly upon a gentle breeze bringing short lived comfort, my repair will be you.

 - And the afterglow of last light surrenders to night, my heart yearns to find you within the stars shining bright.

 - When Dogeared pages of my life turn, your tender touch breathes behind my tired eyes.

 -  And a new dawn opens my eyes once again to find a new day. My day always belongs to you. I rise and fall with you as my light.
