My Life As A Bard Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

My Life As A Bard

Rating: 4.2

Let me tread the dark
In its entirety
To catch the glimpse of light
In its purity

Let what would come to me
In bits or whole
I won’t bend my head ever
Won’t sell my soul

Deep in my thought you reside
To give trouble
My hope to be with you for ever
Ends up as a bubble

Days melt into gory nights
I stay awake
And rue the lost possibilities
For your sake

What if you won’t ever come
To light up my world
In the sea of ink I must die being
A suffocated bard

Full of emotion and the bard inside you opened his heart to tell the truth.A bard's soul can't be bought or sold.
