A blank canvas sits before me
All the brushes and paint await
I ponder my first stroke carefully
For this paint permanent
And won't ever fade
I put my smock on
Because at some point
I know I'll make a mistake
This painting is one I can't ever re-do
But thats a risk I'm willing to take
The strokes on my canvas are few
And as for finishing it
I've got a ways to go yet
But by the time I'm through
This painting will be one you'll always remember
And hopefully one I'll look at
And never regret

True. I like the thoughts conveyed here. Think before you act, don't take yourself too seriously, remember to take a few risks, take your time on certain things, and paint with the goal of making yourself proud. Make decisions you're not likely to regret. Also, just because you might make a mistake can't stop you from pursuing your goals. So paint, paint away! And I'll try to do the same. Thanks for sharing.
