My hope is hope of mountains
And my fear fear of the wind
The wind may push things back a while
But the mountain remains unshook

My faith is faith of the seed
And my pain pain of the rain
The seed blossoms branches flowers and fruit
Only by drinking of the rain

My love is love of a waterfall
And my trails trials of a high ledge
The waterfall can only flow
If it can fall from the high ledge

My joy is joy of the sun
And my sorrows the sorrows of the sky
The sky must surround
For the sun to pierce it with its light

My life is life in Christ
And my death is death of life
For by following Jesus to the cross
My death leads to eternal life
