My Knight In Shining Armour Poem by Micron

The attackers hit the Knight’s village again and again
Defences were destroyed completely down the drain
But in this world he was a true brave Knight,
Who would never give up stand down he would fight.
His battered village Gauls were oh so so sad
They needed help to defend rebuild to party and be glad
Because attacks were so hard the Knight was told
His alliance would no longer support him he out in the cold
He found himself out in this world full of hurt and pain,
They needed someone to help through the rain.
Although attacking armies were very many and cruel
We enfolded him though others thought me a fool
Our villages were small but we were many
Everyone sent defences making one army full of plenty
There they waited in his village and they did party
The mead flowed well and they were all hearty
We defended him with our every last troop
Sadly many troops were lost from our helpful group
But eventually with persistence our defences won
And the attacks on those villages were gone
The Lord was so grateful we stopped his demise
For without help the villagers would have said their goodbyes
He vowed forever stay fighting with us to remain
My knight in shining armour whilst we did reign
From our actions we gained a knight noble and true
That would stay by our side whatever this we knew
The Knight charging in to help anyone in need
He saved us all over and over indeed
A knight who loved us all for what we were inside,
With him there's nothing we needed to hide.
A knight who when attacks got harsh would dry away our tears,
Telling us how to attack back defend and overcome our fears.
Whatever our attackers threw the Knight always stood strong
Even when things when so badly wrong
From our actions of helping a knight nearly defeated in trouble
We gained so much more from raising him from the rubble

This poem was inspired by the game Travian and my knight Artur (no i havent spelt his name wrong) who we rescued and was such a great guy helping us many times over afterwards :)
