My Kind Poem by Soumita Sarkar

My Kind

Rating: 5.0

I feel lost
in this forest
of life
I search something
almost on every sun
I see keenly that
I am bit different
from others
who are around me
IS this a crime?
Pointing towards punishment
sometimes...... may be
I feel good
to respond with smile
I feel great
to give a helping hand
I have no vile
I hide no malice
I know for sure
fault not in me lies
Yet its too tough
to find one of my kind
I offer goodness still
Whether I get a friend
or a crooked file
I know this path is straight
I fear no bend in fate
Finally I shall meet
Who will think right
