My Kalypso Poem by Elis Mita

My Kalypso

From where I shall, the story to begin?
When the soul, escapes, deep within.
In the middle o' the centre, of the earth.
There where, the hurted glory, still burns.
The eternal calvary, o' the tired hope.
Stops there, to me, somethin' to show.
And after all the Odyssey, and pain that I felt.
A wonderful woman, one day I met.
She starts helpin' me, and giving me bread.
And everythin' other, she generously had.
Her eyes shines, on Mediterranean 'n Gibraltar.
Like enormous eagles, were comes from far.
Then sweetly and softly, she asked my name.
When, in my heart, suddenly, stops the pain.
'Odysseus, my name.' - I said, to her.
At the same time, she looked like bird.
I knew her, she wasn't like me.
The precious Titan's daughter,   'n Eternity.
One another day, when I start like child to cry.
She comes to me,   asking me: 'Why? '
I remember what to her, then I had said.
'You're an immortal nymph, while I a mortal man...
And you're  divine!
O darlin' o' mine!
You're a nymph!
O precious, O myth!
You the deffinition, o' perfect love.
Shining sun,   that brings light above.
O glory, o inspiration, o female symbol.
From Gods created, o unique my idol.
I am a simply, destiny's figure.
Who's kicked and smashed, by life's tortures...
While you, o precious, o holy nymph.
With your awe eye, 'n your flames lips.
With your pure, deep, and wonderful soul.
With a great thee passion, that has the heart of yours.
You with your mythic, character brave.
You,   with your stunning 'n holy unique name.
You saved me O goddess, one step from the grave.
I'm a simply, normal person's history.
While you o nymph, are whole immortal mythology.
You're rain, sun, sea, storm and wind.
Life, feelings, hope and love's wings.
You look like a new, young Sapho.
And you are really, the same Kalypso.
The same you're, 'n I'm sure for that.
I've read the story, 'n I saw your heart.
Your heart Kalypso, have touched the mine.
I can't explain it, 'cause it is divine.
Like Odysseus let me please, alone 'n in sadness.
I'm not a fool, to love a goddess. That's all I've to say, that's all my apology.
Your place my love, is in mythology...
And as long I'll live, you must know.
For you, o my nymph, I'll feel only love...'
