My Journey To Love Poem by Rahma Hudallah larry

It started in one of my silent heart chat...
In my lonely hours

I had a feeling of a new wind blowing from worlds beyond my lame sight

A quest to search for my pure soul lost years beyond years of numbers

In the sacred book, knowlegde streched it hands to me
In the beautiful garden of roses i found a rose that wished to share her fragrance with me

She taught me to make a journey into myself and found me in a beautiful 'self'.
I discovered happiness and never want to leave


There, a pure desire of love was sown in the deepest chamber of my little heart

The love that i seek is not burried deep beneath the ocean,

It is not hidden under the sand in the middle of the desert or in the hearts of men...

It is the manifestation of truth that could be discovered in the serenity of the desert and seen in the waves carried by the ocean
An incorporeal love found only in the purest of hearts....

What is this thing that i feel in my heart and see everywhere...beauty?
A volcanic erruption i see in a lovely vision....coated with beauty

In the saddest hearts i see love
In the broken hearts i see hope
In the blinded heart i see vision
The world around me became a place of full of lessons!
Divine lessons!


Between the lines of fear and sorrow I found life

Between the lines of wisdom and loneliness i found purpose...
Between the lines of pain and confusion i found my 'self'
In the midst of all these i found love....
Yet, I am still in search of love....
