'My Inspiration' Poem by Linda Winchell

'My Inspiration'

You were my inspiration
to become who I am now.
You taught me how to believe in myself
you taught me with love, just how!

A life that seemed predestine
to fail and to fall.
Until you inspired my heart to sore!
to hear my inspirations call.

It may not have seemed a lot to you
when you were teaching me how to walk.
For I was crawling towards disasters failure
until you gave me that inspirational talk!

So thank you for what you've done
what you have touched off in my life!
You were my inspiration to succeed
And make better of what was my strife!
