My Innocent Child



My child is innocent
Innocent of the world around
Her tenderness Shows innocence
Her beauty betrays her hope
Of what the world holds for her
She believes her world
Ever trusting and faithful
She loves everyone around her
Colour or height matters not
She sees all as one
To her, I am a refuge
What an innocent child!
How I wish everyone is innocent
