My Humble Patience Poem by Sadiqullah Khan

My Humble Patience

My humble patience, I pray
The prologue I play,
A gentle ear
A beholder’s eye.
The devil’s cursed,
Upon the mercy and bounty
Out of our imperfections -
O Lord, grant us pardon!
