My Hope I'Ll Confess Poem by Jason Pack

My Hope I'Ll Confess

I can't begin to explain,
Why I feel this way.
When I walk into a room,
I can't help but think of you.

Eyes are useless to me,
'Cause you're all I see.
I'm completely blind,
But baby, I don't mind.

My ears are useless, too,
'Cause all I hear is you.
I know others speak,
But their voices are weak.

My hands twitch to and fro,
Your body they want to know.
They hang by my side,
As day by day goes by.

My voice makes not a sound,
When you come walking 'round.
I wish I could speak,
To make you notice me.

I am so ashamed,
'Cause you don't know my name.
I'll just carry through,
Waiting for you.

Sometimes I feel,
Like you don't want me in.
So many layers to peel,
Like every movement's a sin.

I'll dance and I'll dance,
As I ask you the question.
I'll prance and I'll prance,
'Round your answer's procession.

I hope you'll agree,
My hope, I'll confess.
That you'll go with me,
Oh, that you'll say yes.

My hope is not blind,
My hope is a beast.
My soul and my mind,
On them, my hope feasts.
