My Home In Tennessee Poem by Deborah Ratchman

My Home In Tennessee

Rating: 0.5

My home…. nestled in the Tennessee hills
I feel I have found my place at last
The roar of the wind as it rushes up the mountain side
It dances through the trees and touches my face
The changing seasons paint a picture of color
From the spring wild flowers that dot the countryside
To the autumn leaves with their bright colors of fall
At last the cold winter days have left a blanket of snow.
With each season the air is fresh and holds the fragrance of nature
But most of all….the quiet….oh the quiet….
Tucked away in a part of the Earth that I call home
Tennessee embraces me with its beauty
