My Heroes Or Heroines Poem by Francis Duggan

My heroes or heroines aggression they never do show
For their acts of kindness them we only know
For to help others out they go out of their way
They are the unsung of the World of today
My heroes or heroines not legends of sports or football
The champions of unselfishness are those i most love to recall
They work for the poor in poor lands far away
The unsung heroes or heroines of the World of today
One of my unsung heroines she lives next door
For the poor of the Locality she has done more
Than anyone i know of she is kind of heart
Selfishness in her life does not play any part
My true heroes or heroines are caring and kind
And better than them one could not wish to find.
