My Heartache Poem by Arrianna Prentiss

My love for you is immeasurable,
although you may not know.
My heart keeps falling for you,
like the petals from this rose.
I need so desperately your love,
your tender warm embrace;
for I would give to you my heart,
with gentleness and grace.
A beat that skips inside of me
and tells my inner soul
that you and I were meant to be
the lovers of this role.
So today, my love,
I write to you
a loving note goodbye-
for if you do not love me back,
my heart might as well die.
