My Heart, My Angel Poem by Aaron Barnett

My Heart, My Angel

Rating: 5.0

</>Call me a fool in love, call me what you will
For my heart now belongs to an angel
One whose star no longer shines in the night sky
Now it’s the twinkle you see in my eye
For this celestial beauty is mine to keep
No other man can claim her, so they weep
For the angel that could have been there’s,
Her radiance more divine in the reflections of so many jealous tears
Call me a fool in love, call me what you will
I’m the fool who gave my heart to my angel.
