My Happiness And My Quiet Joy And My Inner Calm Poem by Shalom Freedman

My Happiness And My Quiet Joy And My Inner Calm

My happiness and my quiet joy and my inner calm
Are almost too great now
I know they are here for just a moment
Sitting in the sun in St. Simon park Jerusalem
First day Chanukah 5776-
I know they will pass
As this moment this day this year this life
But I am just so happy so quiet now
So peaceful writing this
And having nothing else much to say.
