My Guitar Screams Poem by Walter C. Edwards

My Guitar Screams

My guitar screams at me,
I don't know why,
maybe it is lonely,
just like you,
I guess you want me to strum and pull at your strings,
I guess you do,
when we are alone,
yes you do,
my heart has been broken,
so has yours,
I walk down the street,
trying only to find your door,
knock, knock who is there,
only if your in you underwear,
I will come knocking, on your door,
till no one else come around no more.
give me your good loving one more time,
I don't give a dame if you are mine,
echo and shadows follow me,
but baby I am a here only to please,
I get you,
you get me,
I am here to please.
