When I am here
right by your side
you know its me
I am your guide
Your 'inner voice'
I speak to you
I do not tell you
what to do
I might inspire
Give you ideas
Help you cope
with sadness and tears
I might pass on
some good advice
You might not listen
(though it would be nice)
I'll always love you
I am your friend
I'll be with you always
Way past the 'end'
I'll never leave you
I'll always be near
Just whisper my name
Yes 'angel' I am here.
