My Ground Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

My Ground

I appeared this before
And felt sore
When my first poem was went on floor
I was shown exit door

I vowed
And allowed
Fancy to roam again
Amidst visible pain

“You have no business to be here” one girl took me to task
“This site is for youngsters “I was warned not to start
“No, you are not young and hence must go to hell”
I was taken back and was forced not to spell

This doubled my effort
I did not report to any one
I aired the article with title “go to hell”
It was received very well

Since then I have not looked back
I was humiliated, reminded to pack
But I stood my ground well and proved
As poet I could forestall their move
