My Greatest Teacher Poem by Seun Bewaji

My Greatest Teacher

The greatest of all teachers
Her lessons cliff to the grave
Her words rigs loud as bell
Her songs always bubble within

Her gesture speaks volumes
Her character nails her words
She is skillful in teaching
Contagious is her smile

She never labour for gain
She never seek for fame
She always jump at duty
For she cherish my progress

When she set to work
No one gives her notice
But before she is done
People will voice her praise

The greatest of all teachers
Never seek to inform
But endeavours to inspire
And labour to transform.
