My Greatest Grandfather

Rating: 4.5

I am a sheep in the pasture,
I lived a life a life of endless torture,
My Shepherd left without a trace,
I am left in my own ways.

My Shepherd was the greatest man,
He does things no one else can,
He carries me in his arms,
His words were tender and warm.

But how he isn't anymore,
I am now living in terror,
I now watch every step I've tread,
Ever since my shepherd was dead.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem reminds me of how great my grandfather is. The shepherd was my grandfather. My grandfather was my guardian angel when I was a little boy. He is the one who takes care of me because my mother and father was on there job. I love my grandfather but when he died, I thought that my life was in danger because I don't have any guardian to save me from the evil but I forgot that I still have my family to take care of me.
