My Grandpa Poem by yashika R

My Grandpa

Grandpa your so sweet
Now I am touching your feet
With lot of heat
I miss your jokes
And folks
I miss your love
I don’t know how
Maybe because of your affection
And your reflection
My mind goes in search of you
In hue
I am able to recollect the past
Very fast
I honor your power
Which is like a strong tower.
I bow my head
In your bed
I still remember how you taught me
Without getting any fee
You are the only one
Who made all the fun
And made me laugh
When I am broken into half
You held my hand
And taught me how to land
In this earth
After my birth
I remember the days we were together
And the time spent with you in this weather
I honor your velour
And how you go like a sailor
I miss you from my heat
When you depart
After you became my better part
We made our days
With different face
You left your life
And wife
With lot of joy
Like a little boy
Your soul will be purified
And your death will be justified
I know your soul will be with peace
And you will move on with ease
I am now feeling sad
And really bad
But now you are no more
To pour
Your feelings
And your dwellings
On me and buzz like bee
