My Grandpa Poem by WENDY KAY TADDAY

My Grandpa

I don't think i ever told you how much i appreciate
The things you have done, see i looked up to you
And loved you like you were my dad because i never really had one.
When i was growing up i did some things i'm not to proud of
But you were there to fix it all no matter
Weather it was a good grounding or a little shove,
Since i was a little girl, in all i was ever through
you've always been my hero, no one stood as tall as you
You've always been there when i cried. and of course
you could always tell when i lied.
You were the fixer of all my broken things
We called you 'DR. DOYLE' The house hold Doctor
When we fell and skinned our knees or got those nasty bee stings.
I will never forget the Sunday breakfasts,
Even though its hard for me to get up there now
The memories of all those good times are stored
In my mind and those memories will always last
You are the best grandpa that's how it is
YOU DESERVE A MEDAL FOR ALL THE THINGS YOU DID..

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH GRANDPA..
