My Grandma Hands Poem by wanda askew scott

My Grandma Hands

Rating: 5.0

my grandma hands tell a story, families love to hear
tall tales of a family, love, and through the years how to keep both near
a novel filled with many chapters starting at a young age
her hands are now a sequence of books as she approach her finale stage
she looks at her hands and smile at all the wrinkles that now appear
each line and crease sing a song of a story told in a different year
hands that have been through everything from good to bad
so many tears these hands have wipe off of little faces that were sad
grandma hands tell a story with each passing day and night
the tall tale of a strong family holding hand n hand with each grip tight
my grandma hands tell something special in all the wisdom they behold
to someone else all they see is wrinkles, they know nothing more than shes old
ive learned from grandmas hands that wisdom defines age
now as i get older they teach me in my growing stage
with each growing line they tell a different story with each passing year
wisdom in her soul, she has taught me the true meaning of family, love, and what it takes to keep both near
her hands are now wisdom at its finest stage
she looks down and smile, able to see more than just her age
she see's a set of hands that have kept a family close and tight
together she puts them, smiles to herself and thanks God for each passing day and night

IVE LEARNED SO MUCH JUST BY WATCHING MY SURROUNDINGS BUT MY WISDOM IS TAUGHT BY A LIITLE LADY WHO IS FILLED WITH SO MUCH LOVE FOR LIFE AND HER FAMILY.. WANDA
