Paul H Nelson
My Golden
She loves newly fallen snow
Makes her run around wildly
She's an old lady now
But acting like a puppy
I love that she has a new bounce
Her tail wagging in delight
She's a beautiful lady, my friend
Golden on the inside and out
She warms me right in my heart
So, I have to put on my boots
Now she shows me her world
Sniffing and wandering around
She wants me to follow her lead now
As we explore every inch of the yard
I love her sense of wonderment
My beautiful lady, my good friend
