My Goddess Love Poem by Shereen Ramadan

I was lost in the stage of life
alone with no love or wife
_but at one sleepless night_
she came from the bloom
wearing her white gown
and gloaring the night with her magical wings
chanting a fabulous songs
made me swing and sing: ' come my goddess love
take my broken heart to some where secure
take my smile for those who deserve it for sure
take my happiness to somewhere that hath more
take my true love for your own
come my sweet wine
sweeten my life with your endless love and shine
make me drunk of your love and agree to be mine '

I thought that she is the goddess of the sky
came to take my soul as i will die
but she secured me and said: 'i am here to give you the immortal heart that hath no dead'
i claimed that life will have an end
and all the living creatures will reach to the same end
and i will be dead even if she conjured a thousand of spells
as there is no immortality but for GOD

she continued in her songs
: ' immortality of the heart is not the lifelong heart; it is the heart that is full of love and happiness...'
suddenly she stoped her singing and looked to me in the eyes and whispered: ' i am not the goddess of the sky! i am the goddess of your heart! ! ..'
