My Goal, My Future

My Goal, My Future

The art is the future,
The future is the art,
The youth must stand up for the future
Is tomorrow,
The mind, the life, the purpose to live,
The meaning of life is to stand up and do it,
The thought, the mind, the art of reason,
From the mental of my brain
To the river of my rain,
I’m the seed,
That grows in the wilderness
I’m the need,
I give thanks to the wilderness,
Take my hand with you to the future,
Lead my foot to the walks of righteousness,
Heal my broken heart and stolen mind,
To the pieces of my mind, the nature of the mind,
The art is the heart,
The heart is the mind,
The mind is the eye,
The eye is the foot to my gifted hands for the future,
I submit to the hands of a potter,
Whose pots of clay display and saith to the future,
And the painter,
Whose brush textured on the walls of many hearts with colors
Of a rainbow like matters of the mind,

I’m the art, I’m the future
My goal, my future
The art is the future,
The art is our culture,
The mind is the nature, to find a researcher,
To give the evidence is still hard to many men,
But we learn from the early age,
We remain to the pearly gates,
If you blame the early bird,
You remain to be early dead,
The art, the future,
Tomorrow is the future,
Be strong to the future
Move on with the future
The mind and the future
Like rivers in their seasons,
Patterns of the future
All have reasons for the future,
The youth is the matter,
Colors of the mind,
Matters of the youth
Have colors of the truth,
Colors of the truth
Have honored with the mind,
Teachers of the truth
Are the pillars of our kind,
I rise to the brighter day
And dance to the rainy day,

I’m the art, I’m the future,
My goal, my future,
I’m the skill, I’m the teacher,
I’m the will, I’m the leader,
The skill, I acquire,
The wish, I’m the seeker
Of the gift, from the giver,
I inspire, to the nature
As I sing for the future,
I dream art for the future,
I kneel down to the culture,
Of many eyes, but a future
To many minds, as the preacher
Once taught, our ears
Once thought, our fears
I’m the art, I’m the teacher
I’m the teacher, to the future.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Message of the Poem: This is an inspiring lyrical dub-poetry piece that seeks to elevate our minds to the heights of closeness as a people of different and diverse (yet unique) identities and mentalities. We ought to regard all sections of our mental structures within the daily socio-psyche spontaneous interactions with the significant selves. The art of life is what we acquire to lead a goal for the future, as capable intellectual beings, before the eyes of creation, beyond intellectual disability.

poet Charles Stuart Calverley

He stood, a worn-out City clerk —
Who'd toil'd, and seen no holiday,
For forty years from dawn to dark —
Alone beside Caermarthen Bay.
