My Girl Poem by Dasia Deas

My Girl

Her and I swinging outside that night the only care in our minds was the fear of taking flight, but I would hold her tight cause she was my girl

Her and I going to prom that night the only care in our minds was the fear of being left behind, but I would hold her tight cause she was my girl

Her and I on our wedding night the only care in our minds was the fear of our love not being for life, but I would hold her tight cause she was my girl

Her and I got in a fight that night the only care in my mind was the fear of not being able to make it right. She died in white, but she is and forever will be my girl
