My Friend Or Mon Amie Poem by Felix Mudiappan

“Mon Amie”
Let me modern Adam, you modern Eve
of God’s modern first creations,
but this time he created with dress,
And he here uses top to bottom design approach
(First He creates humans and then the other things)
And also he created us as friends!
Actually I came from a place,
which is neither hell nor heaven, call it limbo (India)
(which may or may not be true?)
When I landed to modern Eden Garden(France) ,
(which may or may not be true?)
I met you, because
God has created you already my friend!
When I was in limbo,
I travelled to both hell and heaven
to find friends, As I am from limbo,
and my language is different,
neither heavenians nor hellians,
added me as friend, but when I seen you,
I thought you are also like them,
and will not add me as friend,
because I am from limbo and
I do not know your language,
But you have impressed me,
accepting me as friend and
teaching me your language as a teacher.
Hey modern eve!
I like your smile and look! ! !
You are really beautiful, young, intelligent, wise,
You are loving, caring, understanding etc.
Still many to tell…………..
If I hurt you, I am stupid,
(Really stupid only most of the times)
I thought I will miss your smile! and happiness
So I decided to bring back the smile
and happiness in your face,
So I decided to write this
assignment “Mon Amie”and submit it to you,
to get grades so that I will be promoted,
to Heaven from limbo by God!
mon amie Eve! ! !
But I am afraid to one thing Eve,
the snake, the modern snake,
may be the same old snake
will turn you down
to create another world(earth)
You have given away the fruit of knowledge,
But still there is fruit of wisdom! ! !
Let this wisdom be preserved
By eliminating prejudices and maintaining friendship
If I have written something wrong,
Forgive me considering that I am your student
Also too error is human! I will improve upon it!
