This friend of mine
Who is so very pure in her soul
She was hurt by others
but has a heart of gold

My friend is a dreamer
Admired and loved by all
Even when she is push around
She stands strong and tall

All she wants is kindness
Her heart is filled with light
She can make anyone smile
And make them feel alright

But when she cries
My heart starts to shatter
Because she is my friend
And her eyes lose their laughter

I want to help her
To protect her from harm
To help he walk down her path
To help her keep her charm
