My Flock Poem by Walter C. Edwards

My Flock

I walk down the street with my flock,
the shop keeps close there doors at three o'clock,
have to get them shed and them feed,
my day is for ever long,
then I will sleep with my flock,
And go to bed,
I keep them warm and all safe everyday,
I don't care what they say,
about me or, for my flock they are my children,
I will protect them from the storms,
I will keep them safe and warm,
because they are my little ones,
in my heart they are my children ever warm,
in my heart ever warm.
