My Fear Poem by Peter Daniel Phiri

My Fear

I fear my greater joy may never be seen,
Though its reflections may glitter in my eyes.

The song that grace my spirit and arrays my poems may not be audible enough to be heard;
Though its echoes and melody reach every fibre of my heart, being and soul.

Just like a whale may never abondon the sea and live in a river or dam,
My greatest poems, aspirations and dreams may never find a way out of me.

But with love,
Sympathy and faith;
There is always hope.
