My Fathers Garden Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

My Fathers Garden

This marvelous light
Blue like feathers of a dream
White with yellow fascination
Golden castles made of peace
Your temporary star is lit
She fades like a beautiful jewel
Refractions of eternal poise
You hands held me like dawn

Silence is a river of life
Desert stars like angels
Miles of true spirit
Storms ramparts of wisdom
House as bright as morning
Wear your trinkets of jade
Your spells only laugh
Her crimson ring of romance

Art like a dream catcher
Winds of gossamer paradise
Meaning glides like clouds
Sapphire night warm like quilts
Violins in legato gowns
Breeze of their presence
Protectors by old paintings
Serene gothic candles

Weddings of the maple trees
Off spring of the wood gnomes
I hear the geraniums laugh
Consciousness of crystal fireflies
Oh! The voice of the sea
Renewal of grace
Tides of lilac joy
Solace brings bells of peace

Lay besides me folded in centuries
Your soul in the silver meadow
Time the moment of unity
Birth in every pure thought
Serenade in the green solitude
I hear the purple altar
Moonlight of the first night
I rest in my Fathers Garden

My Fathers Garden
