My Father, My World. Poem by Afeefa Khan

My Father, My World.

The person you see there,
Is my father, very fair,
Not in the sense of color,
But in the decisions he make.

Unlike most, angry and humiliating,
Mine’s is soothing and impacting.
I have never seen him lacking care,
Instead with all love he stare.

He has his own flow of hardwork,
And not a bit complaining and irreproachable,
His leading aspect I adore,
Is the influence that ardents me.

Idyllically he turns me,
And makes my sadness fly.
His marvelous lithesome moods,
Brings me in abuzz.

His indeclinable noteworthy,
Indeed is astonishing.
He is the person praiseworthy,
Because being ‘A FATHER’ is an experience worthwhile.

And the person you see there
Is my father, not very fair.
Yes! In the sense of color,
But not in the decisions he make.
