My Fate To Thy Will Poem by Suraj Motiwala

My Fate To Thy Will

I know not where the roads will take me,
I know not what time will make me.
Let there be trials prescribed,
Let there be pain, it matters not still.

For I am Thy servant and my fate is surrendered to Thy Will.
Take away my prosperity, take my transient attachments, take away my fading existence.
Take away all, save my love for Thee and
It matters not still,

For I am Thy servant and my fate is surrendered to Thy Will.
O God, my Lord for the times, when my wretchedness blinded me of Thy Purpose.
For times when this desolate servant saw not what hath been Willed,
For times I sought hopes or help from anything but Thee,

Forgive my lunacies, of the past and of the ones to come still,
‘Cause I am Thy servant and my fate is surrendered to Thy Will.
‘In Your Presence there is a wisdom, and in Your absence there is yet another', Indeed!

So is there a wisdom in moments of joy, test and tears. If it not be for the tears, wouldn't happiness grow colorless with the years?
O my Lord, my God!
Letters I speak which affix, as words of Praise for Thee, as words declaring my faith and as words deciding my fate know well, and so does my innermost being that my credence in Thee will be put through its paces!

And from this test I fear not cause victory will be life, and a life of failure therefrom will not be worth living!
Life may make me suffer, time may test my patience, But nothing whatsoever can take away my heart possessed of love for Thee,

Vouchsafe more strength unto me, and let Thy Mercy and Compassion never cease,
For I am Thy servant, direct my fate as Thou please.
