My Eternal Love

The winds of
time caught
your sweet
words

Continue to
blow them in
my breeze

Etched them
on the pallet
of my heart

Oh face of
yesterday

My shadow
lingering
near

Your presence
ever hovering
making me feel
secure

Face of yesterday
my eternal love.

Poem of the Day

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

Young Love lies sleeping
In May-time of the year,
Among the lilies,
Lapped in the tender light:
White lambs come grazing,
White doves come building there:
