My Depression Poem by Ryin Ramsey

My Depression

Happiness quickly fades,
Sadness slowly but surly invades,

Day's turn into week's
Week's into months,
Months into years,

Trapped inside a Box,
Left with only my thought's

The sleepless nights,
A battle within,
The flame ignites,

For it has consumed me,
Traveling deep inside,
Where it forever waits and hides
