My Daughter Poem by Uloia Norris Moore

My Daughter

I have not seen her
in more than a year
they think I will get
better by not seeing
her

I have not finished
mowing some Else's
yard I am ill for
not seeing my
daughter

I hear thunder and lightning
I will go out and finish mowing
some body Else's yard

I am 49 she is only four
my only child
I go out and mow
the yard
