My Curse Poem by Immanuel Boamah

My Curse

Sorry for my existence

I'm sorry for my presence

Sorry that I'm a coward

I sent your life quite backwards

Sorry for my pair of eyes

Those two always tell lies

Pardon me dear for my pretense

I'll make it up once life returns

Sorry for that one last touch

Lord knows I'm sorry for the rush

I'm sorry I'm still in love

This time with an angel, a dove

Sorry for that one lonely sparkling tear

The pain lasted a day, then the year

Sorry I'm always writing 'bout the past

And stories with you and I in the cast

Sorry for whoever I have been

I wish it'll fade away as a dream

Pardon me again for the rain and pain

And the tear that came amidst the first stain

Sorry I had to break that fragile heart

Though I tried to stop it from falling apart

I'm sorry, so sorry I'm still in love

This time I know for sure tis from above

Sorry I ever spoke to you

And when I was finished time was due

Sorry I'll never get into that heart

I wont get to call you my sweetheart

Sorry for coming here too late

My weary eyes missed your heart's gate

I hope I'm pardoned for all I have done

You were and will always be the one

If I'm asked to move back in time

I will move in a single line

That is back into my dear's life

To make her my lovely wife
