My Comfort Blanket Poem by Phil Ward

My Comfort Blanket

On a cold and frosty winters night,
There’s nothing more than I desire
To wrap a blanket good and tight,
Around me sat before the fire,
And stare upon the amber glow,
In wonder as the dancers weave,
A merry reel of make believe.
