My Comfort Poem by Muideen Lanre Dauda

My Comfort

Should I call you an angel or soul-winner?
For feeling the breeze of your breath-air
Hushing warmly through my cold soul-

Your thumping chest will become my tomb-
Where the rest of my life'll be spent
As I'll have my heart drown in your love's sea

My life, my dreams and my goals will be yours
And yours will be mine,
For we'll share breaths and breadth
