My Coffee Poem by Vera Sidhwa

My Coffee

So hot, so swirly,
So creamy.
I sipped it with my warm breath.
The coffee was delicious and sweet.

I read many newspapers over it.
I read books too.
The coffee in my cup,
Talked to me too.

It seemed this magic cup,
Held the message dear
That my coffee in my coffee cup
Held the meaning of my life.
